Touchscreen control of hight-purity gas generators

Most of the laboratory devices requires a comprehensive display interface to perform configuration, control and diagnostics of instrument. An ARM SBC with a 5.6” touchscreen and embedded Linux was chosen as the platform for a QT-based software application.

The project has several technical challenges:

  • Serve a high diversity of the product line with the same QT application;
  • Provide facility for support and diagnostic over over a remote Internet connection;
  • Achieve a simple and convenient user interface that can be accepted worldwide.
