To comply with high Regulatory and Data Protection requirements, Digital Audit Platform is relying on DATEV eG solutions for data storage and processing. The core workflows in the Digital Audit platform are implemented in accordance with IDW PS 302 and ISA 505 standards.
Both standards emphasize the critical role of external evidence in supporting audit findings and ensuring the overall quality and credibility of the audit process – which is an essential part of services provided by our customer to Audit and Law firms.

Brightgrove has established a highly professional development team which introduced highly desired tech expertise to the product. We have taken control over architectural decisions to enable scalability and operational excellence, enhanced development processes (such as Alerting and Monitoring, Release management, DoD and testing standards, etc.) using our best practices and experience.

The combination of these technologies ensured high performance and platform stability, with dynamic data being rendered on the server-side. Thus, the FE team has been fully dedicated to deliver outstanding UI/UX look and feel. The platform is cloud-native and is hosted in AWS.

Team’s role was to boost development throughput for the whole product, and to set up mature and efficient development processes. With time, those processes have been extrapolated to the inhouse department as well.
To successfully achieve these goals, Brightgrove has set up a team of highly experienced engineers and team leadership, who also bring stability on top of their technical expertise. Team composition has changed over time according to the business needs; however, several key roles have been there throughout the whole engagement period:
• Engineering Team Lead – a key person to introduce best practices into development process, such as Code Review procedures, boilerplate creation, Unit test code coverage standards and many more
• Senior DevOps engineer – brought in continuous evolution of CI/CD pipelines and AWS cost optimization to the Digital Audit Platform, which has significantly reduced the infrastructure cost and brought in highly desired Prod stability. Also, DevOps has established Alerting and Monitoring standards, which allowed to increase system uptime to a stunning 99.97%
• Expert UI/UX designer – to make the simplified document review and exchange workflows that serve as the core of the Platform truly usable, a design guru highlighted its values in very customer-oriented Look & Feel; Though, the design work was less about creating the mock-ups and more about conducting customer interviews and working with focus groups
• Full-stack Ruby development team
• Senior Quality Assurance engineer – has built the QA framework around the platform, had very deep product understanding which resulted in a thorough Quality gate for the development process, minimizing the number of high-severity issues found in production
